Terms of Service for PrimerInterview

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and GrundLayer ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By accessing or using the PrimerInterview application and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PrimerInterview supplements your job search and interview preparation using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Services include:

• Mock Interviews: AI-driven simulated interviews with real-time feedback.
• Resume Builder & Analysis: Tools to create, edit, and analyze resumes against job descriptions.
• Practice Questions: AI-generated questions tailored to specific roles/industries.

3. User Accounts

• Registration: You must create an account to access most features. You conduct this via third-party providers or email authentication.
• Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content and Data

• Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload (e.g., resumes, job descriptions) and the content generated entirely by you ("User Content").
• License: By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
• AI Training: We do not use your personal User Content to train our public foundational AI models without your explicit consent, unless it is anonymized and aggregated.

5. Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments

The Service may operate on a credit-based system or subscription model:

• Credits Usage: Credits are deducted at the time of the action (e.g., generating a mock interview).
• Subscriptions: Billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments: All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Input personal data of third parties without their consent.
• Use the Service to generate harmful, offensive, or discriminatory content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses.
• AI Errors: We are not liable for any employment decisions made based on reliance on our Service.
• Cap on Liability: Our total liability to you shall be limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
